The Shimrin2 FX Series base color determines the loading of the Shimrin2 FX Series.
The S2 FX Karrier Base Series component can create straight effects, KBC Kandy basecoats, and tri-stage coats.
After selecting a Karrier Basecoat, choose an FX Effect pack if the Kolor calls for it.
The Shimrin Solid Graphic Kolors are a universal basecoat that can be used as a basecoat with other Kandys or Pearls in the HOK range.
The Shimrin can be topcoated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel.
The mixing ratio for low solids candy is 4:1:2, and for medium solids candy it is 4:1:1.
The flash time can be from 30 minutes to 4 hours before applying House of Kolor's klear.
Apply 2-3 coats of topcoat clear to allow kandy enough time to stop “stringing”.
